CELEBRATE THE SANTA CRUZ WORLD SURFING RESERVE!

YES! YES! YES!

WE'RE STOKED THAT THE DEDICATION DAY FOR THE SANTA CRUZ WORLD SURFING RESERVE IS COMING UP AND WE HOPE YOU ARE TOO!

This is truly a global honor for our coastline, and one, in our opinion, that is well-deserved. We don't think of our home as "Surf City Santa Cruz" for nothing! So, get ready to participate in the celebrations!

Surfriders's "Short Short Film Festival, Celebrating the Santa Cruz World Surfing Reserve" is part of the community-wide lead-up to the dedication day, of course, but YOU are invited and encouraged to participate, too!

Did you know that both the City of Santa Cruz and Santa Cruz County have declared the month of April      2012, "World Surfing Reserve Month" in the city and county? Our "Short Surf Film Fest Celebrating the Santa Cruz  World Surfing Reserve" is part of the community-wide build-up to the big dedication events,of course, and YOU are    invited to celebrate, too!

This invites all of you to craft a celebration event of your own. Families, classrooms, schools, clubs, service    organizations,   businesses, and environmental groups....well, everybody....is encouraged to host your very own event,  big or small, " Celebrating the Santa Cruz World Surfing Reserve."

Get out there and be part of this community celebration! Need an excuse for a party? This is it! AND...any event, big or    small, that you create, please let us know at the address below. We'll list your event in the community events taking place    in April. AND take a few good PIX if you can, because we want to eventually put up a SCWSR website, and we'll post your event and pix on the page.
