OCTOBER 9: SURFRIDER GENERAL MEETING & "BLUE DRINKS" an informal networking event for ocean conservationists

Chapter Chair Dustin Macdonald invites everyone to join us for our October 2012 General Meeting on Tuesday, October 9 at "GEISHA Japanese Restaurant and Tea House", 200 Monterey Avenue in Capitola for an interesting session of "SURFRIDER and Coastal chat". We'll kick it off at about 5:30 p.m. and EVERYONE'S INVITED! Hey, this'll be fun!!

Let's talk about coastal matters with a bunch of coastal-minded folks just like YOU. and try some sustainable sushi. That's right: Geisha works with Fishwise to be sure they only use sustainable fish on their menu. So, let's grab some sushi and sake and have fun!
Network with fellow ocean conservationists, share stories and ideas, and treat yourself to complimentary house saki, edamame and sushi snacks!
15% discount on everything else.

And REMEMBER, we always need volunteer help. Volunteers are us--literally!

Wanna know how to volunteer with us? We'll make it easy!

Wanna know how to help represent Surfrider at an event table?

Wanna know how to help represent Surfrider at a public event or public hearing, even a City Council or Board of Supervisors Meeting?

Wanna know how to snag weekly water samples--or help out in our water quality lab?
Wanna know how to help out with Beach Cleanups?

Hey, we're all volunteers here, so guess what? We LOVE VOLUNTEERS!

Come to our meeting and let's talk!
