Community Informational Meeting on MARINE ISSUES and the ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW PROCESS– TODAY!

The fourth in a series of scwd2 Community Informational Meetings will focus on marine issues related to desalination and the environmental review process for the Project-level Environmental Impact Report.  Come to this community meeting to learn:

  • Why water is a critical issue and how supply shortfalls affect the City of Santa Cruz and Soquel Creek Water District
  • How the desalination process interacts with the marine environment
  • What  different types of intake systems are being evaluated for the proposed project
  • How to participate in the environmental review process and the upcoming scoping period.
