CALL FOR ENTRIES

The Santa Cruz chapter of Surfrider is hosting a shorts film festival at the Del Mar Theater on April 26, 2012 to celebrate the dedication of Santa Cruz as a World Surfing Reserve. Filmmakers are invited to submit surfing and coastal themed films that feature the coasts of Santa Cruz County. A volunteer jury will select several films to be screened at the festival (along with a professional feature-length film). Films must be no more than six minutes long.
CATEGORIES:

There are two categories for submitting entries: a Juniors category (filmmakers must be 16 and under) and a General category (anyone can enter).

DEADLINE:

All entries must be received at the Santa Cruz Surfrider office (2222 East Cliff Drive #234, Santa Cruz CA 95062) by Thursday April 5, 2012. Entries may be mailed via USPS or submitted in person.

TO ENTER:

We only require that filmmakers are current members of Surfrider, Santa Cruz. If you are not yet a member or need to renew your membership go to http://www.surfrider.org/membership. All entries must be accompanied by an entry form, which can be found at www.surfridersantacruz.org.
