We wanted send a huge thank you to our corporate clean ups this past month with West Marine and Yahoo! WestMarine's IT staff helped clean up Seacliff State Beach for a work-unit cleanup! We were stoked to help out and to introduce the beach-trash problem to the new volunteers. The effort snagged 67 pounds of trash; 10 pounds of recycles, and 847 cigarette butts. All of the sealife that, now, won't ingest this stuff thank all the volunteers very much!
64 volunteers from Yahoo! who removed 51 lbs of trash and 12 lbs of recycling from Twin Lakes State Beach last week! Great job of "Making good a daily habit"!
