We’re excited to invite you to our September Surfrider Santa Cruz Chapter Meeting!
These monthly gatherings are a great way to connect with our community, learn more about our programs, and stay engaged with the work we’re doing to protect our coast and ocean.
This month, we’ll be featuring two special segments:
Hear the latest about our local water quality monitoring program, including recent results, progress updates, and what’s coming next. BWTF is one of the core ways we keep our community informed and safe — and we can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on.
We’ll also dive into the issue of marine debris — from single-use plastics to larger-scale pollution — and explore how our cleanup and policy efforts fit into the bigger picture of ocean health.
We’ll wrap up the evening with time to connect, mingle, and get to know each other. Whether you’re a long-time volunteer or brand new to Surfrider, this is a welcoming space to meet fellow ocean advocates.
Snacks and refreshments will be available so you can enjoy some treats while mingling and learning!
We’d love to see as many of you there as possible! This is not only a chance to learn more about our programs but also to celebrate our community and the incredible work we do together.
Thank you for all that you do — we hope you’ll join us! 💙
