Santa Cruz Surfrider invites you to roll up your sleeves and join us for a community-powered Rio Del Mar Beach Cleanup! This is your chance to make a direct impact on the health of our coastline while enjoying a beautiful morning by the ocean.

Why It Matters

Marine debris, especially plastics, harms wildlife, pollutes our waters, and spoils the natural beauty of our beaches. Every piece of trash removed is a step toward a cleaner, safer, and healthier Monterey Bay.

What to Expect

All cleanup supplies provided (buckets, gloves, grabbers, and data cards). Family-friendly event—kids and teens welcome! Learn how to track data that contributes to statewide plastic pollution policy. Meet other volunteers who care about protecting our coast.
