Surfrider Partners With "Water For Santa Cruz County" Film

Surfider Foundation Santa Cruz Chapter and Scott McGilvray have formed a partnership surrounding the production and marketing of the film “Water for Santa Cruz County”. The theme of the film is to discover and reveal water supply solutions for the entire county. The format of the film is similar to “Water For Santa Cruz.” Scott McGilvray will act as host, and interview important figures in the Santa Cruz County water business and water community. Surfrider Foundation Santa Cruz Chapter will support the production of the film “Water for Santa Cruz County” and will act as the financial conduit of donations for the film project.

Donors wishing to support this production can make restricted donations to the Surfrider Foundation Santa Cruz Chapter via check with a note designating the funds for “Water for Santa Cruz County” (sent to 2222 E Cliff Dr. Suite 234 Santa Cruz, CA 95062) or via credit card at https://santacruz.surfrider.org/getinvolved/ donations/ with an accompanying e‐mail to treasurer@santacruz.surfrider.org specifying that the funds should be used for the production and marketing of the “Water for Santa Cruz County” film. As a 501 (c) 3 organization Surfrider Foundation Santa Cruz will provide tax donation letters to each donor.

The Budget for this project is $25,000. $5,600 has been raised to date. The film Water For Santa Cruz 2 will premiere at the Rio Theater at 7:30 pm, on Wednesday, October 28, 2014. Below you can see Water For Santa Cruz part 1, a short film. Tickets here.
