We'll welcome Bruce Daniels and Tom LaHue from the Soquel Creek Water BOard and Scott McGilvray of Water Aware to our meeting this month. After a short presentation about the proposed desalt plant and how to get involved in the decision making process we'll have a Q&A session.
As our region struggles with a HUGE decision about constructing a desalt plant in Santa Cruz, we're hosting a community event. Join us to talk to the guys who are on both sides of the desalt spectrum. Whatever the community eventually decides, this will affect our lives in this coastal community for the foreseeable future, so don't sit on the sidelines while the debate goes on.
