On a beautiful day in Capitola, 34 volunteers joined us for our beach cleanup in March! On one of the cleanest beaches in Santa Cruz, they still were able to remove 9.7 lbs of trash, 1.1 lbs of recycling, and several hundred cigarette butts from entering our sanctuary. Our beach clean ups take place on the first Saturday of each month (unless otherwise noted on our website), and we hope to see you soon!
