From tackling plastic pollution to monitoring water quality, your support helps our 100% volunteer-led chapter continue to work on our programs that help our coastlines and community.

Why Donate

We’re a 100% volunteer-run chapter. We need funds to help keep our programs going strong.

Your contribution supports:

🌊 Beach Cleanups: We removing thousands of pounds of trash every year from beaches spanning all of Santa Cruz (like Cowell's, Seabright, and Rio)—keeping them clean and safe to enjoy.

💧 Blue Water Task Force: We test water quality at popular beaches and surf spots, sharing real-time results to protect public health and safety.

📊 Beach Guardian Program: We monitor the health of our local beaches, report environmental conditions, and gather data to inform advocacy and protection efforts.

📣 Coastal Advocacy: We fight for stronger protections against overdevelopment, erosion, and sea level rise while preserving public beach access.

🎓 Community Education & Outreach: We aim to inspire the next generation of ocean defenders.
