Tomorrow at Patagonia Santa Cruz Outlet, free screening of SAND WARS, Thursday 7pm! Sand Mining is destroying our coastline. The “Monterey Bay holds the dubious distinction of being the only active beach sand mining operation along the entire United States shoreline. To make matters even worse, it all takes place along the shoreline of a protected National Marine Sanctuary.” (Gary Griggs). Patagonia is hosting a free movie screening to build awareness, discuss solutions, and ultimately shutdown the mining operation forever.
