Really stoked to have Stone Brewing join us for our beach clean up this weekend! They will also be holding a benefit for Surfrider at Beer Thirty Bottle Shop & Pour House after, make sure you stop Stop by after the clean up and grab any of the Stone Brewing beers on tap, Beer Thirty will donate $1/pint to Surfrider Santa Cruz! Xocoveza, Ripper Pale Ale & four 20th Anniversary IPA's will be on tap! RSVP here (optional)
Bring your sturdy shoes, water, and sunblock. Please bring, if possible, your own reusable cleanup items to cut down on waste we produce in cleaning up as well, such as buckets/reusable bags, work or garden gloves.
Drop-in and groups are welcome! We also encourage participants to bring their own gloves, grabbers, or buckets. Come on down and help save the beach!
About Save The Waves: Save The Waves Coalition is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the coastal environment, with an emphasis on the surf zone, and educating the public about its value. We are a devoted group of surfers, scientists, and activists, who share a common belief that our wild coastal areas around the world are precious and valuable, and need to be protected.Join us for our Monthly beach clean up at Seabright State Beach (entrance by the whale statue). Anyone of any age is welcome and invited to help. These clean-ups also provide a source of community volunteer work as required of students in many local schools, clubs and colleges.
